When I moved from India to Lancaster for my Master’s, I joined a virtual viewing of the room I was considering. But the connection was so poor that the video kept freezing and lagging. I couldn’t properly see the room, the shared spaces or the condition of the property.
I still had to make a decision from abroad without a clear picture of where I would be living. That experience showed me the gap between being offered a virtual viewing and having reliable information you can actually use.
